Permanent magnets of ferrite have an excellent resistance to corrosion and they can cope temperatures between -40°C and +250°C. They are highly resistant against chemicals, are non-toxic and weather-resistant. They are inured to oxidation and eco-friendly in disposal. Even direct contact to food is classified as harmless.
What has to be regarded in using ferrites?
Ferrite looks somehow like a mine of pencils - and they are fading a bit like pencils do. This is not harmful but might be an optical problem. Neodymiums are non-fading.
